Excretory System: 

In the Excretory System we have two main organs which are the:

• Skin
• Kidneys

With Land and Soil pollution, there are many different things that get put into our environment / thrown into our environment. Land / Soil pollution affects us by the different chemicals that exist on our land. Below is a list of chemicals thats shows the different chemicals found in our land causing  Land / Soil pollution.

Cadmium: It can remain in your body for years before your body can get rid of it. Long term exposure will result in kidney failure, lung cancer, respiratory failure. You can get lots of bone defects such as osteoporosis (softening of the bones).

Copper: If you are being exposed to too much copper it can result in kidney and liver damage. You are also at the risk of getting brain tumors etc.

Selenium: Exposure to too much can cause kidney and liver damage and severe injury to the nervous system. 

Lead: Found in soil. It has a poisonous effect on kidneys and reproductive system. There can be a lot of damage done to the nervous system after be exposed for a long time.
